In that moment, I knew everything had changed. Was it a single step to the left yesterday or the gentle flutter of a passing admiral butterfly’s wings this morning? Something had shifted, leading us to a point where time became divided into before and after. Yet, in the grand scale of the universe, this upheaval was but a grain of sand in the vast ocean—a mere blink in the continuum of time.
Sinä hetkenä ("In That Moment") celebrates Teekkarikuoro’s 40-year journey as a guiding star in the student choir scene of Tampere. The concert also marks the final season of Johanna Lantto, who has led the choir with dedication for nearly 20 years. The program features songs that have shaped the choir over the years, as well as world premieres of brand-new compositions and arrangements. The audience will be taken on a journey—from the Big Bang to the cooling of the universe, and through the moments and encounters that define the human experience.
Teekkarikuoro is a mixed choir from Tampere University Hervanta campus, known for delivering deep emotions through song and moving its audiences. The choir is conducted (for the last time, for now) by Johanna Lantto, music pedagogue and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering.
Tickets for the concert are 25 / 12 € (regular / discounted), including a program booklet. You can also support the choir by purchasing a supporter ticket for 40 €. Tickets are available from Tiketti. If any tickets remain, they will also be sold at the door on the day of the concert.
